Croom Precision Medical appoints Michael Maher as Non-Executive Chair

We are thrilled to announce that BGF portfolio company Croom Precision Medical (CPM) has recently appointed Michael Maher as its non-executive chair. The introduction was made by our Talent Network team, which to date has made 6,000 network connections and helped appoint over 285 chairs and non-executives.

CPM is a Limerick-based precision engineering business specialising in the design and manufacturing of precision components for the medical device industry.

Over his career, Michael was a partner at PwC, and also worked as CFO and COO at the global electrical group Glen Dimplex over a 20-year period. Michael has also invested alongside us to help expand the company’s existing facility, invest in new capital equipment, and create new jobs.

Michael is currently a supervisory board member at Glen Dimplex and a trustee of the Naughton Foundation. As an accomplished business leader and having played a key role in the deal process, Michael is well placed to work alongside CPM.
